When running a raffle, it can be done in several ways. If it's a small, short event, then you sell people tickets and draw the prize at the end of the event and hope the winners are still hanging about. If it's a longer event, then often you need to capture the persons contact details on the back of the ticket.
This can be a long and laborious task often requiring several volunteers who all end up with writer's cramp. It also slows down the process of selling tickets, meaning that whilst you're dealing with one person, three other potential customers are walking past.
So, welcome to the solution!
Using this simple tool, you sell your tickets as normal, giving the customer their ticket and simply record the contact details on this system. If the customer buys 1 or 100 tickets, the contact details are assigned instantly to all the ticket numbers.
As you record each ticket, a random number is automatically assigned to each ticket, meaning that when it's time to "draw" the winners, the system can simply give you the top winning tickets in random number order.
Once the draw is done and you have the contact details for the winners, you simply purge all the data, and you're ready for the next raffle.
And best of all, the service is free!
